Wæm Daw-qurnoz (/daw/ /ˈqurnoz/ [east] [militia]) is a subtropical Town located in the Jĭǐkhěn District of the Federation of Alveria.

The name Wæm Daw-qurnoz is derived from the Constructi language, as Wæm Daw-qurnoz was founded by Bl-10s 'Otis' Dyêbê, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Wæm Daw-qurnoz has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Wæm Daw-qurnoz receives an average of 218 cm/y (85 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Wæm Daw-qurnoz covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2638 m (8654 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Wæm Daw-qurnoz was founded durring the early 13th century in fall of the year 1205, by Bl-10s 'Otis' Dyêbê. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Bl-10s 'Otis' Dyêbê.

Wæm Daw-qurnoz was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Daw-qurnoz is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Wæm Daw-qurnoz is buildings are arranged arround a single spacious packed earth mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Wæm Daw-qurnoz's somewhat suffishent are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

Wæm Daw-qurnoz has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Wæm Daw-qurnoz’s streets.

Wæm Daw-qurnoz has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Wæm Daw-qurnoz has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Wæm Daw-qurnoz's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is based upon new and innovative technologies of construction and the idea that form should follow function. It was an embrace of minimalism and a rejection of ornament. The style became characterized by an emphasis on volume, asymmetrical compositions, and minimal ornamentation..
